After hearing raving on about how many Thai Trang and snorkeling was great, I thought I better go see what the excitement around, and heard great reviews in a couple of forums Thai. My wife and I went to an Expo trip to Bangkok and booked a package containing at least 2 nights, including all meals and two days of snorkeling included.

After 1 hour flight we landed in Trang is located south of Phuket. Our Resort to pick us from the airport and took us to a pier for ourFerry to the resort, which was on a small island. On the dock I could not help but notice all the garbage that was there, the place was dirty and I began to think that this trip is not to live up to the hype from my Thai friends. But after the ferry to the station I was surprised that the garbage was gone. Our bungalow was located about 10 meters from the beach, which was a great location.

After removing our luggage went to dinner, where we were greeted with 6 fieldsSeafood. The amount of food could feed a family. After dinner, we do not get near the end we were ready to return to the bungalow for a place to sleep for a whole day snorkeling.

The two-day snorkeling, we had a great time, it was so much fish and rice, which would eat right out of hand. We also went to a place called the Emerald Cave, a small hole in the side of a mountain, we swam as a group (with lifejackets). The cave was really dark, butIf you have seen under the water was blue and gave us a little light from the sun's reflection. After about 30 meters, it was just pitch black for about 50 meters. Once we got to the end of the cave, lit up the water because it has an opening at the end of the cave. Our guide told us that there is a small beach with rocks on the other side of the wall surrounding it. But to get there we had to swim under the wall for about 5 meters. I am a pretty good swimmer and it was easy tome, but we had a man who could not swim at all. We had to hold his breath and two of us swam and pushed it under and through the other side.

After that we were all alone on the beach about 50 by 50 meters was. It 'was an amazing place. I was told by our guide, who many years ago, which is where the pirates to hide their valuables there.

Once we returned, we went to many other places for snorkeling, before we went back to our resort.It was a tough day.

After eachbusy day, we were greeted by a large number of fish and seafood for dinner. I must say that this trip has lived up to the hype. Trang is a nice place to visit, I would recommend it to anyone. If you like the sun, good food and snorkeling, then Trang is the place to go.
